Collaborative Memo

This assignment is based on a case situation found on pp. 174-181 of the Burnett Book. You will be working with a collaborator to prepare a technical memo (and any necessary supplements) in response to the Sundance Systems case situation from this assignment.

Before coming to class on Tuesday, February 13th, read the case situation for Sundance Systems, Inc. (on p. 153) and the Sundance Information Sheet (on pp. 154-155). Prepare brief notes about how you'll approach the assignment. Take into account the task, the content, and concerns such as purpose, audience, organization and support, document design, and consolidation of these concerns. These issues should guide your preparation of the memo.

During class on Tuesday, you and your assigned collaborator should develop a writing plan. Prepare a memo (and any necessary supplements) that assesses the problem and recommends a solution. The final memo is due on Thursday, Feb. 15th. The length of this memo should be long enough to cover the subject matter.
