Agent: Electronic Process Guide Writer
Role Description
The electronic process guide writer (or EPG) is responsible for creating an on-line document that describes the process that the team used to complete the project. The process guide includes sections describing what agents participated in the project, what artifacts were created, and what activities the team participated in during the development project. The EPG can then be used by future classes or project groups as a reference to guide their efforts. The EPG is also responsible for collecting and organizing all finished artifacts.

This project had a team of two EPG writers assigned to it.

Supporting agents

The EPG needs the cooperation of every agent in order to complete the process guide, as they all must submit data about their roles and tasks.

Agent Responsibilities
  • Collect all final artifacts from each agent and stored them on a server
  • Attend any relevant team and sub-team meetings
  • Survey/interview other agents regarding their work on the project
  • Create an on-line process guide document based upon questions asked of each agent about their various activities
