The project actually had two project managers: one for the CD-ROM and one for the website. The project manager is responsible for keeping the group on track. He or she is essentially the glue that holds the project together. They plan out the project from beginning to end. They also counselled other group members, helped facilitate project decisions, and helped resolve any project difficulties.
